There are some books that leave an imprint in your heart, “Tuesdays with Morrie” is one them.

“dying”, Morrie suddenly said, “is the only thing to be sad over, Mitch. Living unhappily is something else.”

People who make other people feel good about themselves are hard to find and if you are lucky enough to find them, you should preserve them. Morrie was one of them. Thankyou Mitch Albom for preserving Morrie’s precious words and greatest life lessons in your cute little book, “Tuesdays with Morrie”.

Death is the one horrible truth of life, we can never escape death. Morrie hugged the death like his old pal. “once you learn how to live, you learn how to die.” Thankyou Morrie for teaching us that life is more about living and not just surviving. It was saddening to read about Morrie’s body slowly drifting away little by little. he was helpless but he had with him his working mind and a living soul. As Morrie said, “this disease might take my body but not my spirit”.

Morrie helped us to see the world as more profound place, he was and still is the guiding light for all the people searching for their purpose in life. In the cold world, warm souls like Morrie’s are essential.

Morrie taught us to love in the deepest way possible. ‘love each other or perish’. He taught us how important is to cherish the bond, we share with others; how important is to work on relationships! Morrie, you have changed my perspective for love and for that I am forever grateful for you. You helped me to understand detachment. You taught me that to leave anything completely, you have to experience it fully.

Thankyou Morrie for teaching us that life is all about moving forward and hope is the only emotion which leads us in the path of life. Morrie didn't envy younger, healthy people because he had experienced that part of his life and it is the time to experience his old age.

Morrie thankyou for giving me the whole new perspective of life, you helped me to understand that life is all about the moments, the small things, the bond we share with others and the emotions we feel.

Mitch, thankyou for preserving Morrie in your precious book. Morrie lives in the hearts of many, he is immortal.

For Morrie, his favorite escapism was dance, for me it’s listening music. Thankyou Morrie for making me appreciate my escapism even more.

Finally, Thankyou Santosh Anand for writing this beautiful song, “एक प्यार का नगमा है”, which is full of life.

This is one of my favourite book. Death ends life but not relationship.
