Shiver.

Art is a way of expressing ourselves, and writing is the most intimate form of it. They say, “winter is the writers’ bestfriend,” perhaps because winter brings longer nights: The darkness, the privacy, little to no warmth. the uneasy solitude. lonliness. Shiver.

Nostalgia creeps in like a demon, thoughts make ambiguous shapes. Reminiscing comes first, then melancholy, restlessness, and at last, words. Expression.

Some write to express, some write to untangle their thoughts, and some to understand themselves.

Winter brings uneasy solitude with it, some escape it, writers face it.

Oh, those shivers you describe? They're the first draft chills! Winter's grip tightens, but words take flight. Perfectly captured the magic of turning solitude into stories.
